"As soon as I spoke with Bertie about Postpartum support I felt immediately sure she was who I was looking for. Her strong but gentle, calm, nurturing energy made the decision easy. Bertie, baked, cooked, did laundry & some household chores which were all a great help. However, the most valuable to us at that time was what I couldn't have predicted and that was the wonderfully steady, warm, mothering energy she brought to my toddler who was badly missing me in the first few days of recovery from surgery. She played, chatted & painted with him and it filled his cup in a way I longed to but couldn't for a little while. It was a huge relief for me to know he was getting that special attention while I rested. Then, when I was able to play more she held my newborn in the same warm knowing way so I could play freely with my toddler.
